SCDOT Update

This update is from the SC DOT (this pertains to the rough section of road in front of Walmart):

“This section is currently being reviewed for inclusion in our next resurfacing package which would be for 2013 assuming funding is available (some of our projects for this year have been delayed or deleted).  It’s ranking is not at the top of the Act 114 list, however, our local maintenance folks asked to move it up based on the condition and their efforts to patch which must take place at night.  These type of conditions allow us discretion in selecting projects so we are getting the most pressing first from a maintenance and financial point of view.  The section from Parlor to the county’s widening project just past Oakbrook is currently under contract for resurfacing.”
